Few Indonesian coral reef professionals attended the recently-held 9th International Coral Reef Symposium (ICRS) in Nusa Dua, Bali. Whether this was the result of lack of interest or the high cost of the trip is not clear. However, TERANGI was there, joining forces with Proyek Pesisir (Coastal Resource Management Project) to present delegates with information on coral reef management in Indonesia. Other organizations representing Indonesia at the event included the Coral Reef Rehabilitation and Management Project (COREMAP), The Nature Conservancy and World Wide Fund for Nature.

Everyday in our life we use paper, for instance; as a media for our document, as a media for communication ( e.g. newspaper ), as a wrapping material for many commercial product, etc. As a result in the end there would be an accumulation of used papers which turns into waste. But we can manipulated that waste into something useful through a paper recycling process.

Terangi and Komunitas Peduli Laut has organized a training course on coastal ecology for 69 Public High School Science Club.

Terangi has long been concerned in the awareness of children to their environment, especially marine environment. On 20 th April 2004 Terangi conducted a presentation in Al-Fikri Elementary School as a form of concern.

Terangi Foundation and AKKII partnership that funded by Ford Motor Company and Indonesian Coral, Shell and Ornamental Fish Association (AKKII). It has been implemented since 2003 and will be ended at end of 2004.

It is a partnership project between JWP (Just World Partners), MAC, and Terangi Foundation that funded by European Commission. Project will be implemented along year 2004-2005 within some selected sites (Lampung, Java, and Sulawesi).
